As we continue evolving to better serve our clients, Beyond Counsel has transitioned from the HotDocs version to a fully online system. We understand that you may have questions about how this shift affects your experience. Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about the change.

Q: Will I still be able to use the HotDocs version of Beyond Counsel?

Unfortunately, no. Our contract with HotDocs has expired, and we are no longer able to support or provide access to the HotDocs-based system. However, we’re excited about the improved experience the online version brings!

Q: Are the documents and questions the same as the HotDocs version?

For the most part, yes. We've made updates to the Word document styles to address issues users encountered with the old version. Additionally, we’ve worked on making the interview process more user-friendly, ensuring a smoother experience while maintaining the core functionality.

Q: Will clients still be able to answer the questionnaire online?

Absolutely. In fact, we've improved this process to make it even more seamless. Clients can now complete the questionnaire directly within the system, eliminating the need to download and re-upload answer files.

Q: Will my HotDocs answer files transfer over to the online version?

We are considering providing services to assist with transferring HotDocs answer files to the new system if there’s enough interest. Please contact us at support@beyondcounsel.io to express your interest and learn more about this service.

Q: Do you offer training on how to use the online version?
