Now in its eleventh year, this popular seminar on May 9, 2014 will bring you the latest information on important estate planning, elder law, and Medicaid planning techniques and strategies.

Returning as a presenter this year is the always popular Robert Fleming, from Tucson, Arizona, one of the nation’s top elder law and special needs trust attorneys, and co-author of the Elder Law Answer Book.  Mr. Fleming will present on “Dealing With the Aging Client” and “Public Benefits 101 – And Then Some!” Calvin Curtis, Program Chair, will present on “Long Term Care Planning – What Works and What Does Not Work”, and “Selected Elder Law, Estate Planning & Special Needs Considerations."

We also welcome this year three policy specialists from the State of Utah, including Rolf Halbfell, Program Administrator, Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD), who will update us on services provided by DSPD; Trecia Carpenter, Manager, New Choices Waiver Program (NCW), who will update us on benefits available under the NCW program; and Lane London, Long Term Care Medicaid Policy Specialist, who will provide an update regarding long term care Medicaid.

Additional presenters include Tim Shea, senior staff attorney, Administrative Office of the Courts, who will provide a Guardianship/Conservatorship Update, including a discussion of the Guardianship Signature Program. Kim Mayberry, Founding Member of Beyond Counsel, LLC, and Partner at REAL Automation Solutions, will provide a special lunch presentation on Website Marketing.
